Va$htie x Nylon Magazine!

No caption needed!! just go get the issue!

Crazy Beachfront Estate!

Emerging from the sands of Port Douglas, Australia, this beach home is a true work of mastery from a fresh name in the world of architecture. The Beachfront Mirage Estate is a study in “helicoidal minimal surface geometry”, attributed to the same technique that the Wright Brothers of Kitty Hawk used in building their flying machines. Architect Charles Wright employed concepts familiar to many artists and photographers, specifically the diving proportion, the golden rectangle and golden spiral.

Fresh Kid: Wale!

On November 10, Allido Records/Interscope will release Wale’s debut album Attention: Deficit. Unlike his mixtapes, Wale goes in a softer, more contemplative direction this time, collaborating with R&B folk such as Pharrell, Colin Munroe, Jazmine Sullivan, Chrisette Michelle, Melanie Fiona and Marsha Ambrosius. On the rap end, there’s Gucci Mane, Bun B and J. Cole. Production comes courtesy of mentor Mark Ronson... Wale is definitly a fresh kid because of his amazing shoe collection. Im proud of this dude he comes from the same area I live. The DMV!!.. Wale has overcome alot of the hateration in the area. keep up the good work sir!

FRESH!!! OMG!!! The Black Sense Market!!

THE BLACK SENSE MARKET was established as a pop up store for the 10 anniversary of the Japanese men’s fashion magazine SENSE. With its key theme being Black which they feel is real man’s color. The name of the magazine derives from having a good sense rather than to follow just any trend at any given time.So with this strong philosophy behind the magazine they have launched their limited items with various brands that have been with the magazine for the duration of its time. I would wear every peice from this collection!! All black everything like Jay-Z.. yessir!

ATO MATSUMOTO 2010 Spring Collection

Sneaker buffs should be well familiar with Ato Matsumoto’s chunky futuristic kicks that had won the adoration of Kanye West. Check the designer’s upcoming Spring 2010 Collection that is a great wearable mix of 90s minimalism, Japanese deconstructionism tossed in with a bit of leather and a bit of bondage. Sheer mesh tops are paired with fitted leather pants that doesn’t only come in black, but pops in color-blocks. The rebel is then toned out with classic staples such as blazers, button downs and plain white tees deliberately shredded with an edge. Of course, supporting the model’s swagger down the runway are cool black hi-top sneakers ATO is known for

Fashion Icon: Jeremy Scott

Designer Jeremy Scott describes himself first and foremost as a pop artist, yet his designs--featuring everything from Mickey Mouse head patterns to dresses with over-sized dial numbers strewn across the chest--are a testament to his eclectic sensibilities.

The Kansas City born couturier's second collection for Adidas Originals continues his trippy, psychedelic vein that merges pop culture and fantasy with a little Japanese Harajuku. This time around, Scott was inspired by scenes of pseudo-tribal African people in European-imported sportswear. There are animal print hoodies, color-block puffer jackets, and of course, Adidas remixed by Scott. Jeremy Scott has broken down many barriers between pop art and music hes influenced artist like Lil Wayne, Rhianna and Kanye West. To me hes the fashion version of Andy Warhol!

Brian Donnelly (KAWS) = Genius

Brian Donnelly has been compared to Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring, both of whom straddled the divide between street and institutional art. But Donnelly has arguably surpassed them with his one-man empire. Business at his Tokyo-based company OriginalFake, created as an outlet for his art and related merchandise, is thriving. During his February L.A. gallery show -- just his second solo exhibition ever -- the line to enter snaked seven blocks; Lance Armstrong bought the biggest painting. The guy who just a few years ago was hiding in bushes to evade anti-graffiti officers is now being courted by megabrands that want his signature graphic treatment on their products. Hes like the modern day Michaelangelo!
